Tennis Court Resurfacing!

July 11-16th: Courts 1, 2, 7 & 8 are Closed
July 18- 23rd: Courts 3, 4, 5, & 6 Closed

We are thrilled to announce we have the official "green light " to resurface all 8 of our tennis courts, as well as the sport court in the next few weeks….who is looking for some pickleball fun?! This is something many of you have been eager to see happen. While the busy days of summer seem like an inopportune time to resurface, we were able to secure a reputable contractor beginning the week of July 11th. When their availability came up, we did not want to waste any time and we jumped at the first opportunity. The week of the 11th, four courts will become beautiful again, and the week of the 19th the remaining four will complete our upgrade. We are asking for your patience and understanding in court usage ahead of these two weeks. If there are ways you can offload some of your normal morning times by coming earlier or later by decreasing play time for this short segment, that would help immensely. We will continue with scheduled clinics as usual allowing the greatest number of members to play per court. Private, semi-private, and small group lessons with our professionals will still be held, but will be more limited during this time. Court time and reservations will be held to one hour per reservation in order to fit more reservations. When you reserve a court, please keep to a one hour per reservation limit.

Secondly, with all 8 of our courts being reserved and used each and every morning, we will be reminding everyone of existing rules and enforcing Court Reservations and Cancellation policies. We have had many instances where courts have been reserved, but not canceled followed by a no show. If the court had been canceled with proper notice, then other members would have had time to access that court and play. Obviously this was disappointing for those wishing they could have enjoyed time on court. Moving forward, if you do not cancel your reservation within 24 hours, there will be a $10 fee. We will ease into this as our hope is to never have this happen. A first time offense will simply be a warning. Please check in for your reservation at the front desk so we can track this. If you are having difficulties with the app or the system would you please bring it to our attention as soon as possible? If you need a new key card, please notify us as well.

We would like to thank you for being flexible with the summer schedule. We hope you have been able to see many of our amazing juniors out on court. We are so proud of their progress. We have many players representing Mission, Atascadero, Templeton, Paso Robles, homeschoolers, and 4 players heading out to play collegiate tennis as their campuses reopen. We also have many younger kids putting in the work ahead of high school tryouts in the junior tournament series.

Finally, we are excited to welcome back a few mixers, tournaments, CCWTL, and USTA Adult League play...all on beautiful new courts. Stay tuned for future programming announcements.

See you on the courts!
