Peggy Metzgar (on left), a member of PRSC since 2017 is an exuberant and devoted friend, mother, and grandmother. A former teacher, Peggy continues to inspire others to enjoy life and most of all loves to make others smile. She is an active member of the PRSC club who loves to attend Aquafit classes and is enjoying learning to play pickleball. She is also a graduate of our Wellfit program and loves to encourage others to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Kathy Thomas (on right) is our Group Exercise Director and the Coordinator for the Cancer Well-Fit program at PRSC. Kathy brings professionalism to our leadership team and is willing to do just about anything to make Paso Robles Sports Club a better place. If she isn't on the pickleball teaching others to play, she can be found playing tennis on the A- Terminetters team. Her ability to be a team player at all times inspires everyone around her to be a better person.
Kathy Thomas and Peggy spend a lot of time together. Whether it is supporting participants in our Cancer Wellfit Program or while playing pickle ball together, we always see them laughing and having fun together. Please join them on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 on the pickleball courts!
Spa Services with Massage Therapist, Caitlin Neil
Swedish Massage
- A full body Swedish massage is a great choice for those seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. The techniques used in Swedish massage are helpful in relieving muscle tension, while simultaneously relaxing the body.
- 30, 60, 75, 90 min
Deep Tissue Massage
- Deep tissue massage is a technique involving deep, slow strokes while applying pressure, in order to target the inner layer of the connective tissue and muscle. This modality is a great option for those seeking pain relief due to extreme muscle tension or adhesions (knots), chronic pain or for those who enjoy a stronger deeper massage.
- 60, 75, 90 min
Sports Massage
- Sports Massage is a great option for those with physically demanding hobbies or lifestyles. For this type of massage, I use techniques from both Swedish and deep tissue massage, while also integrating specific stretches into the session. Sports Massage can help to prevent injuries, increase range of motion and alleviate pain.
- This massage should not be done within 72 hours of an athletic event, such as a competition, game, race etc.
- 60,75,90 min
- If you are interested in a pre/intra/post sports massage (10-15 min each done right before, during and after an event) please contact me directly (805-952-5127) to discuss options and my availability. This massage is done at the event, not in a spa setting and therefore cannot be booked online or at the front desk.
Add ons
CBD oil/ balm
- CBD helps to reduce pain, alleviate inflammation and aid in muscle recovery.
Hot stone
- Hot stone therapy can be integrated into either a Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage. The heat from the hot stones can be very calming and relaxing while simultaneously helping to relieve pain.
Ayurvedic face massage
- A massage treatment done by activating the marma points on the face (ayurvedic acupressure points.) With the use of specific oils and tools, an ayurvedic face massage is an incredibly relaxing experience that can help to bring down cortisol (the stress hormone) levels. This massage technique is a 5-10 min add on that is integrated into any of our massage services.
Prices:
30 min: $50 members | $55 non members
60 min: $85 members | $95 non members

Tennis News
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us here at PRSC. We just want to take the time to thank you for your support of our tennis program and community. This has been an extremely trying and difficult year for so many, and our tennis community found a way to grow stronger and that has meant so much to us. Tennis naturally moved into a real form of therapy for so many. We were so thankful to be able to offer tennis at any capacity we could as an outlet for not only you, but also all of our staff. Seeing you all on the courts provided us with happy hearts and a feel of normalcy. Tennis was one of the few sports and activities that was given the green light to continue relatively quickly during quarantine earlier this year and we made the most of it. Whether it was modifications to class sizes, RSVP systems put in place, lack of events, etc. you all supported us each step of the way and for that we want to thank you. At times, we had to mold and conform to new rules and regulations of what we could and couldn't do, and your patience allowed us to do this as fluidly as we could. While it does not even feel real to say we are winding down to the completion of another calendar year, we are filled with hope that it will be another year of striving forward with our tennis community. As your tennis staff, we will continue to do our very best to continue to make our club the premier tennis facility in the North County and a place to be proud of. Stay tuned for new announcements, events, mixers, tournaments, etc. to kick off 2022.
We wish you a safe and special holiday season.
Sincerely,
Your Tennis Staff.
