Member and Employee of the Month

Sandy (on right) has two kids and three grandchildren, which she adores-just ask her-and If she is not in the pool, she is with them. They "trump" Aquafit! She tends to be a mother hen around the club, full of smiles and eager to do most anything, as long as it doesn't interfere with aquafit! Sandy has also been loving all the pickleball activities and the Forever Fit Class.

Carrie (on left) is an amazing aquafit instructor and a compassionate individual to all she meets. Carrie was named the district administrator of the year at Almond Acres Charter Academy. She is a very proud mom of two great kids.
Her heart is as full as her daily schedule.

Massage

Caitlin Neil is a certified massage practitioner specializing in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue/ Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage Therapy. She is passionate about helping people heal their bodies through a holistic approach. Her intention is to provide you with a relaxing experience that assists in your specific needs, from stress management to pain relief. Everybody is unique; therefore, every session is uniquely curated for each individual.

Swedish Massage

  • A full body Swedish massage is a great choice for those seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. The techniques used in Swedish massage are helpful in relieving muscle tension, while simultaneously relaxing the body.
  • 30, 60, 75, 90 min

Deep Tissue Massage

  • Deep tissue massage is a technique involving deep, slow strokes while applying pressure, in order to target the inner layer of the connective tissue and muscle. This modality is a great option for those seeking pain relief due to extreme muscle tension or adhesions (knots), chronic pain or for those who enjoy a stronger deeper massage.
  • 60, 75, 90 min

Sports Massage

  • Sports Massage is a great option for those with physically demanding hobbies or lifestyles. For this type of massage, I use techniques from both Swedish and deep tissue massage, while also integrating specific stretches into the session. Sports Massage can help to prevent injuries, increase range of motion and alleviate pain.
  • This massage should not be done within 72 hours of an athletic event, such as a competition, game, race etc.
  • 60,75,90 min
  • If you are interested in a pre/intra/post sports massage (10-15 min each done right before, during and after an event) please contact me directly (805-952-5127) to discuss options and my availability. This massage is done at the event, not in a spa setting and therefore cannot be booked online or at the front desk.

Add ons

CBD oil/ balm

CBD helps to reduce pain, alleviate inflammation and aid in muscle recovery.

Hot stone

Hot stone therapy can be integrated into either a Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage. The heat from the hot stones can be very calming and relaxing while simultaneously helping to relieve pain.

Ayurvedic face massage

A massage treatment done by activating the marma points on the face (ayurvedic acupressure points.) With the use of specific oils and tools, an ayurvedic face massage is an incredibly relaxing experience that can help to bring down cortisol (the stress hormone) levels. This massage technique is a 5-10 min add on that is integrated into any of our massage services.

Group EX

Please make sure you are signed up for all Group EX classes at least 1 hours before class time. There are limited spots in each class. Also due to these crazy times there have been a few last minute cancellations and if you are not signed up we can't email you to let you know the class is canceled. If NO ONE is signed up for classes then the instructor will assume no one is coming and there won't be a class.

AquaFit News!

A very special thank you to Jan, Barry and Kent for sharing some ideas to help more members be able to enjoy AquaFit!

These changes will be taking effect immediately:

  1. We will now offer 2 classes on Saturday and Sunday! The first class will go from 10-11 am and the second class will be 11-noon. Please only sign up for one time slot to ensure there are enough spots available for everyone.
  2. Due to demand and the covid situation improving, we have decided to increase the number of participants to 15 instead of 12. The location of where you will be taking the class is fully-first come first served. If you are late to show up, you will need to find an empty spot in the pool which could include the shallow end. Also, please do not enter the water until your class starts to ensure there is enough space for the previous class participants.
  3. All of the aquafit classes will be available for reservations 26 hours before the class starts to ensure everyone has a fair shake of getting into the class. The front desk will only allow sign ups 26 hours in advance as well.
  4. Please be respectful of other participant's space in the pool. We have many people taking the class who have had severe injuries and surgeries and your safety is our number one priority.
    Last but not least....when the weather goes back to a beautiful 75 degrees, we will be moving back into the large pool and returning to our original schedule of the power classes on the weekend and just one class during the day Monday through Friday. Thank you for your patience with our growth!

This program will focus on building lean muscle mass, weight loss, core strength, endurance and much more with effective results. Every workout is professionally designed and led by one of our certified trainers. We want to help you reach your goals and make this a part of your lifestyle. At the beginning of each month we will take your measurements and track your progress so you can see how far you have come. All fitness levels are welcome. We offer three different types of classes just for moms. As a mom it is important to look after your health and wellness through all stages of motherhood. We have created three different mom programs so no matter what stage of motherhood there is a class for you. Throughout all the programs there is a strong community of strong mamas to support, encourage, and motivate each other.

Strong Mamas Club

This program is designed specifically for pregnant and newly postpartum moms with babies 0-5 months. Your babies are welcome. We will help you improve energy levels, build muscles/strength, repair deep core connection, and overall wellness through low impact and low intensity but with high results. This program will be a strong community of strong mamas who support each other from pregnancy to the start of your motherhood journey. This class is available for members and nonmembers. This program is ongoing and we are all accepting new moms to the class.

Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30am-10:30am at the tent on the Factory side

Stroller Fit Club

Join us for this outdoor stroller based group fitness program. Moms need to be strong in every aspect of life and physical strength is no exception. We focus on body weight training, strength training, cardio, and core connect. The workouts are designed to get mom feeling strong and fit all while keeping the kiddos entertained with songs, games and other engaging fun! Our instructors understand everybody is different, especially after child birth, and are skilled to give you the best workouts possible while also meeting your individual needs. This program will be a community of strong mamas supporting, encouraging, and motivating each other through all stages of motherhood. This class is available for members and nonmembers.

Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30am-11:30am, meet at flag poles at Barney Schwartz park

Power Bootcamp for Women!

This is a bootcamp style program that is 7 weeks long for women looking to build strength, endurance, and community, while having accountability. It will be 60 mins of high intensity with combined styles of workouts to promote strength, cardio, and weight loss. Make time for yourself to feel good from the inside and out through this busy time of the year. You deserve to treat yourself to a better you. This class is available for members and nonmembers.

Next 7 week Session is March 14th - April 27th on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30am - 9:30am, meet at the tent on the Factory side.

Tennis

PRSC Tennis Academy has welcomed two new teams into Central Coast League Play. It has been a long time coming, but PRSC now has junior tennis teams that will be competing against other clubs on the Central Coast. This is very exciting for us as we have been building the academy the last three years to get to the point of participating in league play for junior tennis. We will have a High School division team and a Novice/Intermediate division team. Reminder: Beginner/Intermediate tennis clinic
We are happy to be offering this clinic for adults only on Monday nights 5:30-7:00pm. This is available for members and non-members with the prices at $20 for members, and $25 for non-members. This is a great clinic for those who are looking to grow their game, or take it to the next level. It is also a good place to meet tennis players that are at or around your skill level.
