A message from General Manager Travis Hawley
"The only person you are destined to be is the person you decide to be" - Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Health and wellness can be such an interesting journey. I've been blessed to work in this field for 13 years (Started at 19!) and I've seen everything from bodybuilders and elite athletes to first-time gym goers or people diagnosed with medical conditions fighting for a few more years. We all share a passion for a better tomorrow, a better self, a better version of me. It's my mission to help facilitate this change and be of service to our members, guests, and community. Each day I hope I can make a difference and inspire someone to keep moving forward. I'm thankful to be surrounded by a team that shares these same values. You (our members) deserve the best and I promise every day to give you my all as we work to make our dreams a reality, together. So when the day feels long, the pressure is too much, and the weight is just a little too much to carry, I'm here, we're here, and PRSC is here. For you. Together we can, together we will, together nothing will stop us!
We had a productive September. From fixing all the tennis court lights (Shout out to Blake) and finally getting those pesky palm trees trimmed, to new uniforms for the Front Desk crew and so so so much more. I'm really excited for the direction we are going. I know we have a lot still to accomplish but I'm confident we can do it!
As always, if you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. Together let's make PRSC your Happy and Healthy place for many years to come.

Congratulations to our September Employee Of The Month - Mark Reimer
You'll recognize Mark from the early mornings working hard on the landscaping or fixing something around the club. Born in Hensel, North Dakota, Mark is one 0f 7 children! After high school, he joined the Marines and then had a long career working for the state. Mark has 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren with another on the way! North County Aquatics Swim Team
Welcome the new Head Swim Coach Daniel Broger-Mackey
Coach Daniel began his swimming career at three years old, after almost drowning at a pool party. From that moment on, he has always been close to the water. He took swim lessons at his local YMCA, eventually joining their swim team. Daniel was a varsity swimmer and a four-year city champion at Cleveland High School. He also swam at Los Angeles Valley College before becoming a coach.
Working at the same YMCA he grew up at, he immersed himself in the process of being a teacher and coach. He made the team a USA Swimming-certified club. Upon leaving the team in 2016, Daniel started coaching with CCAT Swimming in the San Fernando Valley.
During his time with the CCAT program, he coached dozens of Junior Olympic and Age Group Championship level swimmers. He became the Head Age Group Coach and Head Coach of the Masters program during his tenure. He is an ACSA level two coach and a USMS level three coach. He hopes to bring energy, passion, and dedication to North County Aquatics.

Paso Robles Sports Club Verified UTR Matchplay Event
We will be hosting our first-ever UTR matchplay event at PRSC on Saturday, October 28th.
UTR stands for Universal Tennis Rating. You establish a rating by playing verifying UTR events. Your rating will climb and advance based on your results in the matches that you play, and also how frequently you play verifying match events. We will be hosting our first matchplay day and will have more to come. Professional tennis, collegiate tennis, and lots of recreational tennis will be looking at players' UTR ratings, so we are encouraging anyone interested to go to the UTR website and create your free account.
